On “The Carol Burnett Show,” Tim Conway’s improvised story about a circus elephant had everyone, including the audience and his co-stars, in stitches. Playing the character Mickey Hart during a game of ‘Password,’ Conway’s tale of an elephant and its trainer becoming lovers was pure comedic gold. As he spun the absurd narrative, even Carol Burnett, Vicki Lawrence, and Dick Van Dyke couldn’t contain their laughter. The scene was a perfect example of Conway’s comedic genius and his ability to crack up everyone around him with his spontaneous humor.
